THE CHALLENGE
The client had visited our stand at a recent show and was impressed with quality of the lodges and was also aware that we manufactured modular buildings. Subsequently we were invited to visit their park and have a look at their existing reception building with a view to designing and building a new reception building in keeping with their vision for the park.
THE OUTCOME
Our design team visited site and met the client to look at the existing building and discuss what they were trying to achieve from a functional perspective as well as the look and feel.
Initial design drawings were prepared showing both the internal layout and the external elevations. Following a couple of tweaks, a further visit to site to meet the client took place and all internal and external colours were selected, a careful review of all window & door positions, desk & sockets, kitchen layout, noticeboards and vision panels took place so that the final detail could be signed off.
Following sign off the modules, manufacture commenced and the client was provided with regular updates with images and videos showing progress. During the manufacturing period further site visits took place to agree the dates for installation, where the crane and delivery vehicles would be positioned and ensure that the client, the site and the general public could all be kept safe during delivery and installation.
The building was delivered and installed within 6 weeks to the complete satisfaction of the client.
